 My Grandchildren's Quilts Note: The quilt square depicted here is a reproduction of a section of a traditional Wedding Quilt made for Warrows of the Fairhill family. The Silver tipped and thorned rose being the symbol of that clan starting from the time of Rose Fairhill and "The Winter War". The name "Warrows" and the reference of the "Winter War" are from the copy righted works of D. L. McKiernan. |

 Faith of the Heart Note: The Picture above is The Space Mirror Memorial built by The Astronauts Memorial Foundation at the Kennedy Space Center Complex. The 42.5 feet high by 50 feet wide mirror-finished granite wall consists of 90 panels, 80 of which are 5-feet by 5-feet and ten that are half that size. Each full panel is two inches thick and weighs 500 pounds. It was dedicated as a national memorial in 1991. Engraved in the granite wall are the names of all U.S. astronauts and astronauts who flew with U.S. crews on American Space Ships, who lost their lives while on missions or in training. |
